Typhoon Zoraida now in Philippines - Storm Signals Up

November 11, 2013 - After supertyphoon Yolanda, typhoon Zoraida now in Philippines and threats places in Yolanda's path. Storm signals is now up in several areas in Mindanao and will landfall in Tagbilaran City Tuesday.

MANILA -- Public storm signal number 1 was hoisted over seven areas in the country as the Tropical Depression east of Southern Mindanao entered the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) at 4 a.m. Monday and was named "Zoraida."

The Philippine weather bureau has placed the following areas under public storm signal number 1:

- Dinagat Island
- Siargao Island
- Agusan del Norte
- Agusan del Sur
- Davao del Norte
- Surigao del Sur
- Davao Oriental
