This is a rare sight and everyone who spotted this rainbow cloud is very lucky since this phenomenon is seldom to happen.
The phenomenon appeared Sunday in the skies over Isle of Palms, according to Greenville television station WYFF4.
According to AccuWeather.com, a “fire rainbow” is formed in developing, thin cirrus clouds in which same-sized water droplets or small ice crystals diffract light and produce the array of colors.
