Among the family members, it was Vandolph, Dolphy's son with actress Alma Moreno, who was visibly emotional during the final viewing of the remains. The usual calm Eric Quizon was also seen crying during the burial.
Zsa Zsa, who was calm during the rites, said as Dolphy’s remains were being sealed: “Salamat sa pakikiramay sa aming pamilya. Maraming salamat sa pagmamahal na binigay mo sa amin at sa buong Pilipino.”
“We love you. I love you lovey ko. Till we meet again.”
Eric advised the media as early as Saturday, July 14 that the Quizon family will not entertain interviews after the burial.
