FEBRUARY 9, 2012 Powerball Jackpot Climbs to $310 Million

The Powerball jackpot keeps climbing — it's now at least $310 million after another drawing passed with no ticket sold matching all the winning numbers.
The winning numbers chosen in Wednesday's drawing were 17, 28, 38, 39, 51. The Powerball was 33.
The cash option for Saturday's drawing is $193.4 million. Five tickets sold for Wednesday's drawing matched five numbers but not the Powerball, including one in New Jersey. Each of those tickets is worth $1 million minus taxes.
Saturday's Powerball top prize is the largest since an Ohio man claimed a $314.7 million prize in August 2007, according to the Powerball website.
No one has won the grand prize in Powerball since an unknown Pennsylvania couple won $128.8 million in December.
Several Mega Millions drawings have topped the $300 million mark since then.
